Word of Life, The Pines in Pottersville, NY is set in the Adirondack Mountains where families and friends can gather and choose to tent camp, bring an RV or stay in a cabin. Studio A is assisting in the preparation of a Master Plan which will develop an improvement plan and outline for both buildings and site to provide a framework for the overall “Pines” facility.
In developing the overall Master Plan, the program includes demolition of staff housing and cottages and construction of new housing structures, improvements to the meeting house, relocation of the snack shack, improved beach access and amenities, erosion control at beach area, recreational facility improvements, RV/trailer site improvements, pedestrian and vehicular accessibility, upgraded utilities, and overall landscaping.
The project goal is to establish a comprehensive plan, upgrade facilities and include additional programming opportunities for the Pines in collaboration with HCP Architects and BBL Construction Services.
