Studio A Landscape Architecture and Engineering, DPC is a small diverse professional design firm located in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY that focuses on creating spaces that are environmentally sensitive, technically innovative, and economically feasible. Studio A maintains a flourishing firm with a wide range of projects including resorts, high-end residential, parks, and urban plazas, health care, educational and sports facility, infrastructure master planning, design, and permitting.

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER/ARCHITECT - 0-5 YEARS
Studio A is actively seeking a creative and talented Landscape Designer for immediate employment. This job offer provides an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and advance in Studio A’s Landscape Architecture + Engineering practice.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assist in the preparation of design documents, conceptual and schematic designs, design development, and construction documents;
Prepare graphic representations, renderings, and presentation materials;
Prepare initial site inventory and analysis, mapping and graphically representing preliminary materials to the project team; and
Participate as a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture;
0-5 years of experience;
Ability to work independently as well as to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Sketchup or compatible modeling software. Lumion and/or HydroCAD is a plus; and
Creative thinking, self-starter, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Civil Engineer - 0-5 Years
Studio A is actively seeking a Civil Engineer. This job offer provides an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to grow and advance in Studio A’s Landscape Architecture + Engineering practice.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with a team of professionals while developing site civil engineering plans, reports, and specifications for a multitude of land development projects;
Performing and supervising research, site, and roadway layout and grading, water and sewer system design, stormwater management design, and wood, steel, and concrete design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional development projects; and
Perform site visits to monitor construction at critical project milestones.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited College or University;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
0-5 years of relevant experience;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office, HydroCAD is a plus; and
E.I.T Certification is preferred but not required.
