Historic Albany Harbor “Slip 12,” formerly Huck Finns Warehouse, is undergoing a historic redevelopment. Part of the City’s Warehouse District, the building is approximately 243,000 SF and visible from Interstate 787. An icon of the city, the building was historically a paper mill and warehouse for the retailer Montgomery Ward.
Conversion of the Warehouse includes approximately 261 apartments, an outdoor swimming pool, walking track, dog park, community gardens, parking, and landscaping. Studio A has been working with the project team to provide Landscape Architectural and Civil Engineering services for the project.
